This alpaca knitting yarn is spun to 4ply/double-knit (DK). Ideal for something a little 'more sturdy' and more substantial. This beige/fawn knitting yarn has a wonderful earthy look to it - and is beautifully soft from the best quality baby alpaca wool.

technical information: Our heavier weight alpaca knitting yarn is spun with four strands of alpaca wool and knits up as a DK with a tension of 22 stitches and 26 rows to 10cm/4inches on 3.25mm (UK number 10/US number 3) needles. It comes in 50g (1.76 ounce) balls and has approx 70yds (64m) per ball.
